Safety Genius Ltd
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 17 September 2026
These terms apply when you buy or use any SafetyGenius service — consultancy and monthly support, ISO support, compliance assessments, document access, training courses and memberships — from Safety Genius Ltd.
1. Who we are
SafetyGenius is operated by Safety Genius Ltd, The Stable Yard, Vicarage Road, Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes MK11 1BN, United Kingdom. Contact: info@safetygenius.com or +44 7904 883 988. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Safety Genius Ltd; "you" means the customer.
2. Quotes, orders and payment
Prices shown on our website are indicative and, unless stated otherwise, exclude VAT. Packages with per-employee pricing are priced on the employee count you declare; if the true count differs materially, we will requote before work continues. Quote-based services are only confirmed once we accept your purchase order or receive payment. Payment terms are stated on each quote or invoice; subscriptions are billed in advance.
3. Subscriptions and memberships
Monthly support and membership subscriptions run for the period stated on your order and renew automatically at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancel by emailing info@safetygenius.com. Fees for the current period are not refunded once delivery has started, and included hours, visits and revision limits reset at each renewal and do not carry over.
4. Documents and licences
Unless your quote states otherwise, each purchased document is licensed for internal use by one organisation at the sites specified at purchase. You may adapt documents for your own use. You may not resell, sublicense, publish or distribute our documents or templates outside your organisation. Our documents are templates and starting points: you remain responsible for checking they suit your actual activities, and for adoption and implementation in your business.
5. Consultancy, assessments and the SAFETYGENIUS™ MARK
The SAFETYGENIUS™ MARK is our own independent assessment operated by Safety Genius Ltd. It is not accredited certification and is not accredited by UKAS or any other accreditation body. An assessment result, certificate or audit report reflects a point-in-time review against the published criteria and does not guarantee legal compliance; compliance with health and safety law remains your responsibility as an employer or duty holder. Certificates are valid for 12 months unless stated otherwise and can be verified by contacting info@safetygenius.com.
6. Training courses
Booking places are confirmed on payment. You may substitute a delegate at any time, and cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 5 working days before a live session; later cancellations are charged in full. Where courses are delivered online, joining instructions are sent by email. Course materials remain our intellectual property.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information (including employee numbers and site details), give our consultants reasonable access and timely responses, and nominate a contact for each engagement. Delays caused by missing information or access may extend timelines and, where significant, incur additional charges which we will agree with you first.
8. Intellectual property
We retain ownership of all methodologies, frameworks, templates, reports and materials we deliver, except that you may use deliverables internally for the purposes for which they were provided. Where deliverables incorporate your own materials, those remain yours.
9. Liability
We provide services with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or fines and penalties arising from your own management of health and safety. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision is held invalid, the rest continues in force. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
